Shipping Costs & Route Comparison
Use realistic parcel inputs to compare routes, understand actual and volumetric billing, and reconcile the final freight adjustment.
- 01Use the same parcel inputs across routes
- 02Read the service-specific billing rule
- 03Recheck the final quote and settlement
Use the catalog price to compare items and the official freight calculator to plan a parcel. Confirm the actual variation, route and payment amounts in your RizzitGO account.
Freight Calculator Inputs
The official calculator accepts destination, item category, weight in grams, and package dimensions in centimeters; it also offers a state or province field. Use the same package details when comparing routes.
Review the available and unavailable route lists, including any displayed restriction. When your goods are already stored, use warehouse measurements to refine the estimate before submitting the parcel. A planning estimate is not a reservation of a route or price.
Product weight alone may not represent a packed parcel, and the item’s own dimensions can differ from its shipping package. Keep the same inputs across route comparisons. If no suitable result appears, check the details and ask about the actual goods rather than changing the category simply to reveal a cheaper route.
Actual Weight & Volumetric Billing
Actual weight concerns parcel mass, while volumetric calculations account for package size. Read the route’s billing details and displayed chargeable weight. A bulky package can produce a different billed weight from a compact package with a similar physical weight.
Use the formula, rounding and limits shown for the selected service instead of applying one dimensional divisor to all routes. This is especially relevant when estimating boxed shoes, jackets or puffers. Recheck the quote after packaging changes because the original inputs may no longer describe the parcel.
Route Eligibility & Service Comparison
Compare the route’s price, transit estimate, chargeable weight and billing mode. The calculator distinguishes actual-weight and volumetric-weight routes. Read the selected route’s details rather than applying one billing formula to every service.
Check that the route accepts the exact item category and destination. Recheck the quote after changing packaging or combining items, because the package dimensions and weight used for comparison may change.
For electronics, describe whether the product contains a battery or another feature relevant to delivery acceptance, and ask the agent when uncertain. The Electronics category does not establish identical shipping requirements for every device. Compare only services that accept the actual goods, weight, dimensions and address.
Keep a note of the quote inputs and current logistics announcements. A service available for one parcel may not accept a different combination of items. Recheck when adding goods to a combined shipment instead of assuming the original route remains suitable.
Packaging & Consolidation Costs
The workflow allows stored items to be selected together and lists packaging removal and reinforcement among optional services. Compare the protection you need with the resulting dimensions and quote. Finish a return decision before authorizing removal of packaging or tags that could affect eligibility.
Consolidation is an available process, rather than a fixed discount. Compare a combined quote with suitable separate-parcel options. The route prices the resulting parcel under its own billing rules, so adding individual item estimates does not establish what a larger shipment will cost.
Review selected service charges and keep your packaging instructions with the parcel record. They help you compare the requested work with the completed package and understand a later change in size, weight or freight.
Shipping Deposit & Final Settlement
The buying guide describes a shipping deposit followed by settlement using carrier-verified package size and weight. It also describes returning a shipping-fee difference to the RizzitGO account after dispatch. Review the settled amount and any account credit for your parcel.
The calculator explains that final fees depend on warehouse measurement and route selection. Review the checkout amount, selected services and any coupon eligibility in the actual parcel flow instead of carrying a comparison-screen amount forward as a fixed total.
Compare the deposit, final freight and any adjustment using the parcel settlement and account transaction record. An account credit is different from a refund to the original bank card or payment provider. Keep the confirmed payment and selected services together so that you can reconcile the result.
Destination Charges
Review the route’s stated handling of destination charges and confirm anything unclear with official support. The shipping policy states that import duties, taxes or customs fees may be the recipient’s responsibility. Confirm the address and telephone number before submitting the parcel.
For destination-specific tax or declaration requirements, use current official information for that country and the selected route. One general threshold or rule cannot be applied to every European or North American destination. The approximate item price on a card does not establish how a shipment will be treated.
