Warehouse Storage, Consolidation & Packing
Plan around warehouse deadlines, choose removal or protection services and compare a combined parcel with separate shipments.
- 01Track each item’s storage deadline
- 02Finish returns before removing packaging
- 03Compare the resulting parcel quote
Extra storage, photography and packing choices have their own available options and charges. Use the service shown for your actual item or parcel.
Work from Each Item’s Deadline
The official workflow lists 60 days of free warehouse storage. It also describes purchasing an extension in User Center → Warehouse when that period is approaching its end. Read the deadline displayed for each item and the extension’s price and duration before relying on it.
Arrivals on different dates need separate planning. Keep a list of each item, its deadline and its next action. Plan around the earliest relevant deadline, leaving time for an outstanding photo request and parcel preparation.
The general workflow does not give an extension price or a universal outcome after expiry. Ask about your item if that information is missing. Additional storage does not renew a seller’s return period, so an item issue needs attention even when there is plenty of storage time left.
Choose What to Combine
Stored goods can be selected together for one international parcel, or ready items can be sent while later purchases are still arriving. Combining goods is useful when they can use the same route and the resulting quote fits your budget. It is not a fixed freight discount.
Compare the combined parcel with suitable separate shipments using realistic packed dimensions. Boxed shoes, a bulky jacket or an electronic device can change chargeable weight and available services. Include extra packing and service charges in both alternatives.
Match the Service to the Problem
The workflow names customized photography, shoe-box and tag removal, package removal, reinforcement and insurance as optional services at the relevant stages. Read the options actually offered and use parcel remarks for a specific packing requirement.
Removal may reduce bulk; retaining a box or adding reinforcement may help protect or present an item. Finish the item decision first: user-requested removal of packaging, tags or accessories appears among the return exclusions.
| Your priority | What to check |
|---|---|
| Confirm fit or condition | Request the relevant photo or measurement and inspect the result first |
| Reduce bulk | Confirm what will be removed and whether the new freight quote actually changes |
| Protect the contents | Compare available reinforcement, retained packaging and resulting dimensions |
| Wait for another arrival | Compare extension terms with sending the ready items now |
Read the Insurance Offered for This Parcel
Insurance is an optional parcel service, but the general workflow does not define a universal coverage limit. Review the offered price, covered events, exclusions, compensation basis and claim process before selecting it.
Keep the confirmed terms with the parcel reference and note what evidence a claim would require. Make the decision using the actual coverage rather than assuming that every delay, customs event or damaged item will be reimbursed.
Review the Final Selection Before Paying
Match the parcel item list with your own checklist, confirm that requested services are complete and recheck the recipient name, address, postcode and phone number. Leave disputed products out until their next step is clear.
Save service-result images and packing instructions with the quote. Once verified size and weight are available, compare them with the estimate. These records help explain a freight adjustment and show what was selected for shipment.
